David M. Chinka CPA, Inc. in Honolulu

Our objective is to provide each client with the maximum service at the minimum cost within the standards of our profession. The size of our firm allows us to offer a full line of professional services without compromising closer personal attention. We believe that every engagement is performed by someone who is thoroughly acquainted with your company, your problems, and your people.

We are committed to quality within our firm and test that quality and report the results to you. We are members of the Division for CPA Firms of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. One requirement of membership in the Division is a peer review of our quality controls, conducted by specially trained CPAs from other firms, once every three years. The results of this examination are available to the public. A copy of our most recent peer review report is available on our website. An integral part of maintaining quality is our commitment to provide a minimum of 40 hours per year of continuing professional education. This allows us to maintain our technical, management and interpersonal skills. We continually check for independence, conduct internal inspection of the work being performed, and routinely demand close supervision of all engagements.

Our fee structure is competitive with other CPA firms. Each assignment is carefully budgeted based on work required. Time reports are maintained and a complete reporting and follow-up stem is in effect at all times. It is our policy to discuss our estimated fees with prospective clients prior to commencing the engagement and to confirm with them in writing if a relationship is established.
